Shirdi Sai Baba Cancer Hospital and Research Center, affiliated to Kasturba Hospital Manipal, is a 280-bed hospital dedicated to cancer care. It was commissioned in 1992 with generous financial assistance from the Shamdasani Foundation, with an aim of providing quality care at affordable cost for cancer patients. It is run on a non-profit basis, and provides comprehensive cancer care including prevention, early detection, treatment and palliation. The centre caters to patients from costal and interior Karnataka and the neighboring states of Goa and Kerala.
Our objective is to provide best feasible care for the cancer patients, to improve the awareness of people about this disease and to support the conducting of regular camps in surrounding rural areas for early detection of cancer.
